Adventist Youth Socitey

 

Youth Ministries- The youth Ministries are  composed of three groups of youth:

 

  • The Adventist Youth Society (AYS)

 

  • The Adventurer Club (ages 4-9)

 

  • The Pathfinder Club (ages 10-15) -These groups  are  worldwide organizations of young people sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, though young people of any religious persuasion or none at all, are welcome and encouraged to join the organizations.

 

 

The Youth Ministries organizations provides  opportunities for adult staff to mentor and discipline young people in the Christian faith. It is an effective means of evangelism, outreach programs, and promote  lifestyles changes that practically every church can enter and engage in.

 

The Youth ministries in parternership with Community Services ministries provides an outreach program  for youths called Y.E.S  Youth Empowered to Serve. This outreach program includes the training of our youth in:

 

·      Community Development

·      Disaster response

·      Elder care

·      tutoring and mentoring

·      Crisis Care

 

The Pathfinder and Adventurer Club members are governed by pledges and laws, which include some of the following:

 

·      To be pure kind an true

·      To do their honest part

·      To care for their bodies

·      Be courteous and obedient

·      Go on God’s errands

·      To be respectful
