Ministry Purpose: 
The primary source for the principles and values we adhere to on the Finance Committee is the Bible. We exist to obey God as we ensure that the financial systems we design and promote support the vision and ministries of our church.
 
Goals: 
• Review the financial statements on a monthly basis to ensure that income and

   expenditures reflect the mission and vision of the church.
• Review and recommend sound financial policies to the Church Board.
• To work collaboratively with ministry leaders to secure funding for approved

   ministry related events.

At Mt. Zion, it is our belief that giving is a matter of the heart and that each person should give according to what they believe the LORD has purposed in their hearts.



So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
