Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of the Mt. Zion SDA Church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation.

Our members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as participating in AY Society, to preparing the church bulletins. God has given all of us gifts and it is our desire to have everyone involved – using their gifts in the service our our church and community.

 

 

 

Sabbath School
The purpose of the Sabbath School is to make disciples for Christ. It includes the nurture of spiritual growth in members and prospective members, as well as the unchurched who join in the fellowship, study, sharing and service. The Sabbath School exists not only to minister to its members, but to train its members to minister to others. The Sabbath School is a school of Christian living, not just an event on Sabbath mornings.​

Music Ministry
God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music and drama ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Others are involved in the choir. Still others get involved in drama. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of Mt. Zion, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.



Personal Ministry
To spread the gospel message everywhere we go and to everyone we  come in contact with.We work with volunteers, recruiting, training, building personal contacts, and overseeing the program.

 




 

 

 

Media & Technology
Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of Mt. Zion. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in video and audio formats. We also maintain an active Facebook and Twitter feed for additional church communication.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Prayer Warriors

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Mt. Zion SDA Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Sabbath, during the morning service, a team of prayer worriers are praying for the ministry of the Word. Throughout the week, volunteers of our Prayer Warriors team, pray for their pastor, a list of church members, the sick and shut-in members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs. Each Tuesday evening, the church comes together for a special time of prayer and Bible study during prayer meeting.

 

 

 

 

Family Life Ministry
To build christian families who will promote Christian Life styles through prayer and the study of God’s word. Upholding and defending the unconditional value of the christian family is our core principle.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Children’s Ministry
In order to give our children the best Bible teaching possible, Mt. Zion holds a children’s church service in conjunction with the main service. This special time gives kids more opportunity for interaction and learning in a context and manner that may be better suited to their age and learning styles. Our friendly children’s church volunteers have an endless stream of creativity–ranging from puppet shows, to games, to object lessons.

Youth ministries is a work that never stops. Throughout the year, we use many resources to bring our youth the best. If you have a special passion for the youth and would like to contribute your time, please do not hesitate to connect with our Youth Leader. If you would like to give financially, you may include it in your weekly tithes and offering and use one of the extra lines on the envelope to mark AYS along with your desired contribution.
