MISSION  *  OUTREACH  *  EVANGELISM

  • To spread the gospel message everywhere we go and to everyone we  come in contact with.
  • ​We work with volunteers, recruiting, training, building personal contacts, and overseeing the program.
  • In developing a plan for outreach and soul winning, we get the leaders of the congregation together and assist them in setting attainable goals.

Activities

Our outreach team visited, prayed with and distributed thousands of copies of “The Great Hope”, “Steps to Christ”, “Bible Answers”, and “U-Turn” to every home in a two mile diameter of the church.
 

Provided a response card with follow-up visits to address their personal concerns.
 

Distribute an informational pamphlet with available services on and away from Mount Zion.
 

Returned back to the community to distribute “Amazing Facts”, asking questions, praying with and providing food baskets for those in our community in need.
 

Divide the community in small sections, working hand-in-hand with the Sabbath School Department and the action classes in anticipation to get the entire church involved in evangelism.
 

Designate a day of Fasting and Prayer, with a short message and an entire day focused on evangelism. We go out in full force, leading by example. We ask God to bless and direct us to the souls He has waiting to be harvested in the upcoming Crusade.

  • In 2012, the Evangelism Team conducted a workshop focusing on outreach coordination.

 

  • A ministry description for local church leaders was thoroughly covered.
  • A survey of spiritual gifts within the church was conducted and completed.  These gifts were departmentalized by the Personal Ministries and distributed to every department.
